About Barry

I’m Barry Henderson, a photographer based in Cumbria, working across Northern England and Southern Scotland.

My photography is built around people, animals and the moments that happen naturally around them. I’m interested in expression, connection and character rather than forcing a photograph to feel staged.

Whether I’m photographing horse and rider, a much-loved dog, or a busy country show, my approach is straightforward: make people comfortable, understand the subject and create photographs that feel authentic.

My current work focuses on equestrian photography, dog photography and event coverage, with selected photographs also prepared for professional print.
